Meet Our Crew

To say I am a animal lover is no exaggeration.  I have grown up finding every kind of animal on the street to pet stores and hiding them from my mom and giving them a great life. I have never had a time where I didn’t have a dog. I have had pure bred AKC Samoyeds and now I have 4 rescue dogs. I have dealt with dogs with aggressive behaviors, leash pullers, barking dogs…you name if I have had it. I also had horrible luck with pet sitters. I saw one dog walker beat my dog on my camera, I spent $8700 saving my dogs life from neglect of a dog sitter. I vowed to have a company where we take everything I expect and show that with your animals.

We have a great team of CPR and first aid certified employees. We are all background checked and we all have a passion for animals and love that we get the opportunity to do what we love and relieve the stress of making sure your animals are as loved when you are gone, as they are when you are home.

Kelsy– Dog Walker & Adventure guide 

Kelsy is a dedicated to her family as a single mom and her community as a nurse and volunteer firefighter/EMT. She has a deep love for animals and the great outdoors. An adventure seeker at heart, she loves taking her dog Jetty on hikes to explore the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whether it’s a leisurely trail or a rugged trek, Kelsy ensures every pup gets exercise, fresh air, and a tail-wagging good time!! “Dogs are better than people!” 

• I love animals because they are just so pure and full of love and character.
• I love working for 3 Dog Splash because I get to enjoy animals of all sorts everyday and getting to see their joy and excitement when you show up for a walk or a stay is so heartwarming and fulfilling!
• My favorite thing about watching animals is getting to see their personalities come out. They may be timid at first to a new person but once they warm up to you and realize you're safe then they just blossom in your presence and it's so fun to see!
• I don't have a specific favorite animal, I just love all creatures because they're all unique in their own way.
• If I could go anywhere in the world to pet sit I would probably choose Italy! It's somewhere I've always wanted to go and I feel like it would be a lovely place to take whatever pet I'm sitting for on adventures and get to explore it through a pet's eyes!
• I love anything creative, whether it be drawing, painting, baking, crocheting, or so much more. So if I pet sit for you, do not be surprised if I've crafted up something for your dogs or yourself in the time that I've spent with them!

All the cuddles and taking silly close-up pictures

Elephants are my favorite animal because I love that they see us how we see dogs

I’ve always loved animals because every single one has such a different personality. I love building trust with them and getting to see them excited and comfortable around me. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or even chickens, they all have their own little quirks that make them special.

I love working for 3 Dog Splash because it feels very personal and caring, both for the pets and the clients. I also love how much trust clients put into us and getting to be part of making their pets feel comfortable while they’re away.

• Favorite thing about watching animals:

My favorite thing is seeing their routines and personalities come out over time. I love when shy pets warm up to me, or when dogs get excited for walks, treats, or bedtime routines.

• What is your favorite animal and why:

Dogs are definitely my favorite because they’re so expressive and loyal. I love how every dog is completely different and has their own habits and personality.

• If you could go anywhere in the world and pet sit, where would it be:

Probably somewhere in Europe near the countryside or mountains where I could explore with dogs all day and experience a different lifestyle.

• Anything else we need to know about you:

I’m very detail-oriented and love making sure both pets and owners feel relaxed and cared for during sits and walks. I also love taking dogs on enriching walks where they can sniff, explore, and enjoy themselves instead of just rushing through a walk.

• Why you love animals(dogs, cats, chickens)

I have dogs, cats, and chickens! And I love them all for different reasons! I love dogs for their loyalty, companionship, and the work they put in for their humans. I love cats for their calming affects, independence, and affection and kittens for their silliness. I love chickens for their goofiness and the eggs they produce for me.

I love working for 3 Dog Spash because it gives me the opportunity to be around something that brings joy to my life and help to give pet owners confidence and comfort that their pets are being cared for and loved while they are away. I enjoy gaining trust with both the dogs and their owners. Plus both the dog and myself get some exercise!

• Favorite thing about watching animals

My favorite thing about watching animals is getting to know them on a deeper level and seeing their personalities come out while building trust in them. It’s rewarding to know that I can help owners feel at ease while they are away and that I’m helping their pets feel safe, loved, and cared for.

• What is your favorite animal and why A dog is my favorite animal. I think that domesticating dogs is one of the greatest accomplishments of mankind. Everything that dogs have done for us throughout history and the companionship they’ve given us is very impressive. I love that each dog is unique and special in their own way. 
  
• If you could go anywhere in the world and pet sit, where would it be - 

If I could go pet sit anywhere in the world it would be Costa Rica. I haven’t been yet but I’ve always wanted to and I’m pretty sure I would love it. I met someone who was housesitting/petsitting for someone in Costa Rica for 2 months and they said it was the coolest experience.

In addition to working for 3 Dog Splash I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 kids, my very slobbery bloodhound Moose, and my kitties. I am a cat and dog foster!
